When someone walks into Times Audio in Gurgaon, they’re not just shopping for a speaker or a projector. They’re stepping into a space where we design and build complete audio-video environments — where sound, visuals, acoustics, and lighting work in sync to create a seamless experience. https://timesaudio.in
This isn’t plug-and-play. This is engineering, precision, and art coming together — and it starts from understanding the space, the listener, and the purpose.
Beyond Boxes and Specs
We don’t sell ₹1L or budget AV systems. Our theatre setups start at ₹10 lakh and above (excluding recliners and room interiors). This is intentional.
Why? Because budget systems can’t deliver what our clients expect — reference-level sound, cinematic visuals, acoustically tuned spaces, and systems that last over a decade with consistent performance.
A true home theatre isn’t about just installing a 7.1 system and calling it a day. It’s about the harmony of four key pillars:
- Audio – We install and calibrate high-fidelity sound using brands like Bowers & Wilkins, Paradigm, Q Acoustics, REL Acoustics, and Dali. Every room demands a different kind of speaker, subwoofer, and amplifier.
- Visuals – We integrate 4K/8K projectors and OLED screens using Sony, Epson, and LG. The screen size, viewing angle, and projector throw ratio are planned room-by-room.
- Acoustics – Gurgaon’s luxury homes have marble, glass, and open layouts. These sound harsh and echo-heavy. We treat rooms using strategic panels, bass traps, and layout planning — not guesswork. We’ve done this for penthouses in South Delhi and villas in DLF Phase 1–5.
- Lighting – AV needs lighting that adapts. We work with lighting designers or take it up ourselves. Task lights, ambient control, and even backlit panels change how the room feels during a movie or a music session.
Real Projects, Real Impact
Recently, a client in DLF 5 walked in looking for “a solid system with good bass.” We did a full demo. They walked out realising they didn’t just want bass — they wanted impact.
We built them a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos room using:
- Anthem AV processor + power amp combo
- Bowers & Wilkins 700 Series for mains
- REL HT/1508 subs (dual setup for balance)
- Acoustic treatment with fabric walls + wood slats
- Lutron dimmable lights with Crestron integration
Total cost? ₹28 lakh excluding interiors.
What they got: zero boominess, ultra-clear dialogues, and a theatre room they now use 3–4 times a week with friends and family.
Why Premium Gear Matters
Let’s talk brands. People often ask: “Is Marantz better than Cambridge Audio?” or “Should I go for Klipsch or Wharfedale?”
There’s no single winner — only what fits your space, your ears, and your habits.
- Marantz: Warm, smooth, great for movies and music
- Anthem: Powerful, detailed, best for high-performance theatres
- REL: One of the cleanest subwoofer experiences, musical and cinematic
- Q Acoustics & Wharfedale: Ideal for smaller rooms where clean, neutral sound is needed
- Dali & Paradigm: Precise and exciting — works for modern stereo or multi-channel setups
Our job is to match the gear to the room and to the listener. Not upsell. Not oversell.
Custom Planning for Every Client
A villa in Noida needs a different sound profile than a DLF luxury apartment. Ceiling height, room length, and even curtains affect performance. That’s why we do:
- Room measurement and acoustic profiling
- 3D layout design before installation
- In-house service and calibration (we’re authorised for Denon, Marantz, Cambridge Audio)
- Brand-neutral advice — we don’t push what pays us more, we push what works better
Our installs range from ₹10 lakh home theatre starter rooms to ₹50+ lakh full-floor AV experiences. What remains constant? Thoughtful design.
For Designers and Architects
If you’re an interior designer or architect — partner with us early in the project. AV should never be an afterthought. We can guide placement, wiring, and spatial flow in the early planning stage so you avoid last-minute compromises.
We’ve worked on projects in Anand Niketan, Greater Kailash, South City, Golf Course Road, and Noida Sector 44where AV and design worked hand in hand. The result? Rooms that sound as beautiful as they look.
Final Word
Times Audio isn’t about just selling equipment. We design complete environments. Our clients invest in experience, in clarity, and in long-term satisfaction. If that’s what you’re looking for — let’s talk.
